LK, a leading provider of lighting solutions and smart control technologies, successfully hosted a showroom tour for students from the Faculty of Fine Arts & Design, Van Lang University, on October 10 and 11, 2024. This event is part of LK’s collaboration with educational institutions to enhance students’ practical knowledge, particularly in lighting design – a crucial field in today’s tech-driven era.

The visit took place at the iGuzzini Architectural Lighting Experience Center, the only one of its kind in Southeast Asia, located in LK’s office building in the heart of Thu Duc City. This rare opportunity allowed students to explore and experience world-class architectural lighting solutions applied in real-world scenarios.

The tour was limited to 30 students per session to ensure an optimal experience. LK experts, Mr. Hau and Mr. Vu provided hands-on guidance and answered students’ questions, deepening their understanding of advanced lighting solutions and technologies.

Ms. Nguyen Kim Ngan, Head of Marketing at LK, shared: “We are delighted to support students in accessing the latest knowledge and technologies in the lighting industry. This is not only a chance for them to expand their understanding but also to connect with industry experts, broadening their horizons and fostering creativity for the future.”

A love legend about The weaver Girl and the Cowherd. From “The Creation of Adam”, an iconic image of a new beginning. They served as inspiration for the greatest creation which is new symbol of Phu Quoc Island. The architectural creating seemed to make inspiration impossible, but that doesn’t mean no one can do it. Marco Casamonti architect was tried and successes.  And his big idea, the Kiss Bridge project has come to fruition (developed by SunGroup).

Under the Sunset Love Story

The project is located on the South Island of Phu Quoc. You can imagine the project’s shape as the silk floating above the blue sea. The bridge rising to embrace white sand appears to be one solid combination but not touching. It’s like the deep vibration from the couple’s kissing moment under the sunset.

How fortunate you are to witness the kiss moment under the sunset with the Earth. Because of their separation, many people believe that the love story of the Weaver Girl and the Cowherd is not about eternal love. But how do you think they always remember and love each other despite the passage of time? It’s a symbol of everlasting love, and Kiss Bridge conveyed that message.

The symbol of Art, new architecture of South Island

The love story of The Weaver Girl and the Cowherd is not only idea of Kiss Bridge. Do you know “The creation of Adam” artwork? Let’s look at and appreciate how the 2 fingers of Adam and the God are pointing toward each other, as if God is giving him new life, the new beginning to him. Did you notice a resemblance?

When two points are close but not touching, we can tell that detail is unique. It will become an interesting factor to pique the interest of travelers. Let’s look forward to romantic moments, weddings, or marriage proposals from here.

Be in romantic space, watch the sunset, and declare your love at Kiss Bridge. It’s evidence of art by scale as well as a unique design concept. The project has architectural value, but it will also become the best romantic spot now and then.
